Per Entrant Limits
Each entrant is limited to 25 entries.
Each entrant is limited to 1 entry per subcategory.
Entry Acceptance Rules
Number of Bottles Required Per Entry: 2
Each entry will consist of capped/corked bottles or cans that are void of all identifying information, including labels. Printed caps are allowed, but must be blacked out completely if they have markings on them. The use of commercial embossed bottles is allowed but is requested to be kept to a minimum. If commercial embossed bottles are used it should be no larger than 1 square inch.
12oz brown glass bottles are preferred as we want to ensure the best posbile showing of your entry during every possible flight (flight, mini BOS, BOS). A minimum of two 12 oz are required per entry. Green/clear glass or cans will be accepted. Swing top bottles will likewise be accepted as well as corked bottles. Entries will not be returned to participants.
All entries must be handcrafted products, containing ingredients available to the general public, and made using private equipment by hobbyist brewers.

- no marijuana, marijuana synthetics, or “other” illegal substances
All requisite paperwork must be submitted with each entry and can be printed directly from this website. Entry paperwork shall be attached to bottles by the method specified on the bottle label.
Be meticulous about noting any special ingredients that must be specified. Failure to note such ingredients may impact the judges' scoring of your entry.
Entry bottles accepted at our drop-off locations from Saturday, April 17, 2021 2:00 PM, EDT through Saturday, April 17, 2021 5:00 PM, EDT.
Please pay attention to the notes provided for each drop-off location. There could be earlier deadlines for some drop-off locations listed, particular hours when entries are accepted, certain individuals to leave your entries with, etc. All entrants are responsible for reading the information provided by the organizers for each drop-off location.
Judging Session Locations and Dates
Best of Show
Places will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Best of Show. The Best of Show judging will be determined by a Best of Show panel based on a second judging of the top winners. The 1st place entry in each table will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show selected.
Savannah Brewers League Competitor of the Year
Award: Name on SBL Competitor of the Year stave and a take home replica
Points shall be awarded as such for the calender year:
BOS: 5 points
1st: 4 points
2nd: 3 points
3rd: 2 points
Honorable Mention: 1 point
Each session will be judged as its own event with all sessions to be tallied up at the end of the year.
